Welcome

The Canning Community Computer Club (CCCC) was established in 2019 for members of our community who wish to learn about and use a wide range of computer technology. The purpose of the club is to provide its members with easy access to today’s technology.

The club is a community-based, non-commercial organisation which provides a place where its members can:

  • Connect with the local community in the City of Canning.
  • Have social interaction with like-minded people of all ages.
  • Learn new skills in using different computer-related technologies.
  • Develop a strong network of friendships amongst members through their interaction by helping each other.

The club provides an outlet for social interaction for people who are interested in using computers, tablets, phones, 3D Printers, and CNC Machines.

The club meets twice weekly, on Tuesday at 9:00 am at the Herald Avenue Senior Citizens Centre in Herald Avenue, Willetton, and Friday at 1:00 pm at the Rostrata Family Centre in Prendwick Way, Willetton.

ChatGPT

There is a lot of discussion at club meetings about ChatGPT and how to use AI. The discussion is useful to many of us as AI is likely to become highly integrated into our lives. If you want an introduction to AI, then you can start with ChatGPT for Dummies on the club’s training page. Please contact any of the club members if you are interested or have some ideas and suggestions that you may be able to contribute.

The club hosts monthly social events for members and their partners. These are typically either a lunch or a morning tea at a local club, café, or restaurant on the last Tuesday of each month. Please click the link for information about the next CCCC Social Event.
